Since we produce milk, we bear a great responsibility. Milk is not just one of the ordinary products on a supermarket shelf. It is the elixir of life. We start our day with milk, be it a cup of hot coffee with milk, delicious milk porridge, soft yogurt, fresh cottage cheese or thick sour cream ... And it makes our mornings and days good.
We try to make sure as many people as possible have good days, this is why we take the best of what the nature of the Elbrus region gives us, that is the milk of cows that graze freely. We make this milk for you, while keeping all the best things: crystal freshness of the mountain air, taste of alpine wild grasses and fragrant flowers, purity and transparency of streams flowing from mountain peaks. We are happy to offer our milk and dairy products under the logo of the Nalchik dairy plant.

Our company
The milk offered by the Elbrus nature of the Elbrus gives a special flavour to all our products. The secret is in the singularity of the foothills of Elbrus, great ecological conditions, the excellent climate and the unique character of the local nature. The National Park, which covers the territory of 130 thousand hectares, has been formed in 90 kilometres west of Nalchik in the highland area of the basins of the Baksan and Malkа rivers, within the Caucasian mountain range. The Elbrus region is carefully protected from the harmful impact of civilization.
The sun shines more than 300 days a year on the local pastures, and the air is always clean and transparent. Dairy cows graze here on green meadows. These meadows are rightfully called alpine, since they are located at an altitude of 2000 to 3200 meters above sea level.
The Elbrus region is rich in fragrant herbs, such as alpine violet, edelweiss, primrose, sage, bluebell and others. This is the main diet of cows that freely graze, drink running water and breathe in the mountain air.
All this makes milk from the Elbrus region not just delicious, but also very wholesome, as it incorporates the life-giving force of the pure nature.

The history of the dairy plant
The corner stone was laid in the foundation of the Nalchik dairy plant in 1998. This was the most difficult time for Russia, since all enterprises were in decline, production had ceased almost completely, everything was maintained by imported products only. In this circumstances, the opening of a new modern dairy plant in the Kabardino-Balkar Republic was a significant event. The conditions for this decision were favourable enough: private livestock breeding was common in the region, and the milk of local cows had always been known for its excellent taste. Restoring and refurbishing abandoned buildings was out of question from the very beginning, so the founders decided to build a modern enterprise from scratch.
